20110s — My Chemical Romance Reunion Tour

My Chemical Romance confirmed their reunion in 2019 after more than six years apart, with their first new show since coming back taking place in Los Angeles. This was the start of them rising back to perform, and they instantly went on several world tours as well.

2020 and Postponed Shows my chemical romance tour

MCR were also set to embark on a massive world tour in 2020, celebrating their return with dates all over Europe and North America. But as with most artists, the COVID-19 pandemic pushed their tour back indefinitely. Fans were understandably disappointed but aware that health and safety comes first.

2021 – 2022: A year of more my chemical romance tour

The impact of the pandemic shook up those plans, but MCR started rebooking shows in 2021 and well into 2022, hitting some festival dates as well as more intimate gigs. They played some of the biggest overseas festivals, including:

The When We Were Young Festival (2022)

Download Festival (2022)

The sets also featured classics like “Welcome to the Black Parade,” “Helena,” and I’m Not Okay (I Promise).” They were overall massive for many fans, being the comeback to what seemed like years of crazy high-power raw MCR shows.

Tour Dates For 2023-2024 — I Hope Soon

With MCR teasing additional dates as recently as this year, in the wake of celebrating the success of The Black Parade Anniversary releases and hitting new streaming charts as well in 2023-2024, it seems like there is little doubt some sort of tour may be headed our way whenever music calendar eventually opens up again after the end of Covid’s era. However, official dates for a complete world tour in 2024 and beyond hadn’t yet been confirmed — other than the snippet of word we’d received prior to this also-tentative announcement!

Considering that My Chemical Romance concerts are known for their dramatic stage presence, fans are hoping that the band may announce a new leg of their tour in 2024. Look for theatrical stages, grand visuals, and the resonance of a sound that has defined generations.
