Rebecca Minkoff: December 18, 1980-San Diego, California. Fashion piqued her interest when she was very little. Growing up, Minkoff had an instinctual desire to create so attending the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City was a natural choice for her to study fashion design. Upon graduation, she did not go back home but entered the competitive fashion world and began carving her path.
